What a check gives you
Ten names in one check, ranked by risk
Compare up to ten candidate names side by side, each scored against everything checked for the markets you tick.
Trade marks, company registers, domains, the Apple App Store and GitHub and Bluesky handles
One search covers the registers searched for the market, the domain endings that matter there and worldwide, the Apple App Store and GitHub and Bluesky handles (other platforms are linked to check by hand).
AI classes and wording
Suggested trade mark classes and goods and services wording for the business you describe, checked against the wording the offices accept where that check exists. AI suggestions are a starting point, not legal advice.
A launch plan with estimated official fees
What to do, in what order, and what the official fees are, with links to the offices. Always estimated: confirm before paying.
The objection radar
The objection radar estimates how likely the owners of similar earlier marks are to oppose your application, and suggests narrower wording to review before you file. UK marks from the register's published snapshot are judged on their classes only; newly published ones on their goods and services. An AI assessment, not legal advice.
Watching and alerts
Watch your name. Daily re-checks, with an email on new similar trade marks, companies, apps or domains.
Questions
Who is RM365 for?
RM365 is for anyone choosing a brand name or keeping one: startups and entrepreneurs, growing brands, established brands, and advisers and agencies.
Is a check in the United Kingdom enough if I trade elsewhere too?
No. Trade marks and company names are territorial: a registration in the United Kingdom protects you there. Tick every market you trade in, or plan to, and the check runs all of them at once.
Does a trade mark registered somewhere else protect my name in the United Kingdom?
Not by itself. For the United Kingdom the check searches the trade marks RM365 covers, and that is not all of them yet. Not yet: unpublished applications and later status changes — check the UK IPO. Check what is not covered on the office's own register before you rely on the name there.
How current are the results?
Registers searched live are as current as the register itself at the moment of the check. Published register data is updated on a schedule, so the newest entries can be missing until the next update.
Is this legal advice?
RM365 is not legal advice. It shows what the registers and the web hold on the day you check, estimates the risk of an objection and suggests wording to review; a trade mark attorney advises you on your own case. For a filing you care about, or any dispute, use one.
